Bar Code Scanner: Assign Bar Code To Equipment

The bar-coding ability in Fleet Maintenance Pro (Shop Edition) and Maintenance Pro (Professional Edition) allows you to scan the bar code on an equipment asset in order to select the asset from the Equipment List.

You can choose from 7 different fields to store the bar code value:

Serial #
Unit #
Custom Value 1 - 5 (shown below)

The selection for the field is found at File > Options > Equipment under "Barcode Field" as shown here:
