Installation Instructions
To install the Single User edition of Fleet Maintenance Pro 2019, please run the fmp2019_su.exe setup file. If the file is not available, please refer to your original order email for the download link. You can also email us at support@mtcpro.com with the name the software is licensed to and we'll send you a download link.
Click through the installation prompts. You can accept the defaults and click through the prompts, as they only specify where the program files are installed. Once the installation is finished, you will be able to open up Fleet Maintenance Pro.
At this point, it is defaulted to the 30-day trial and the database is populated with sample data. To activate your product license, go to Help at the top and click Register. Enter the username and serial number provided to you upon purchase.
If you need to move any data to this computer go to File | Restore and choose a .zip backup file to restore. Once the restore process is complete, you should be able to see your data. Note that you would need to create a backup from your old machine using File | Backup first, then copy the .zip backup file to the new computer and restore it.
Where is the data stored in the Single User edition?
By default, the data is stored in the following directory: C:\ProgramData\IMS\Fleet Maintenance Pro\Data\. There is not a way to edit or change this data location in the Single User edition.
How do I remove all of the existing trial data to start with a blank slate?
You can manually remove the equipment and parts by right clicking and deleting. This only needs to be done one time. We also have a blank database we can send you to restore. Email us at support@mtcpro.com if you would like a blank database file sent to you.
