Here you can enter as much or as little equipment information as you wish!
Data is organized into tabs as follows:
Main - Identify basics such as Unit # (required), Make, Model, Year, and Serial #. Assign a Location (required) and an Operator who has primary responsibility for the asset. Select a PM Schedule Template and/or set Meters. Create the first set of Custom Fields.
Specifications - Predefined program fields include Physical Attributes and Engine specifications, while an additional 12 Custom Fields are available to label as needed.
Warranty / Misc - A primary and secondary warranty can each be tracked by date and/or meter. License information and an additional 10 Custom Fields are available to label as needed.
Purchase - Select the Dealer and purchase-related details such as a straight line depreciation and ownership status. 2 Custom Fields are available to label as needed.
Loan / Lease - Specify a loan or lease company and any account information, plus enter a value to the General Expense Logging area and automatic recurring payments will be recorded to the asset's expense history.
Insurance - Specify an insurance company and any account information, plus enter a value to the General Expense Logging area and automatic recurring payments will be recorded to the asset's expense history.
Tires (Shop Edition Only) - Choose the number of axles from the drop-down and a corresponding diagram will appear. Tire size and pressure may be recorded, and check the Show Tire Assignment Screen on Save box to enter tire-related services such as mount/dismount and rotation.
Images - Add or drag-and-drop photos for convenient storage right in the database.
Attachments - Add or drag-and-drop electronic files for convenient storage right in the database.
Notifications - List any contacts who should receive email alerts, and sign them up for Maintenance alerts, Renewal notifications, and/or Work Order notices (Shop).
Expenses - Regularly recurring general expenses such as loan/lease, insurance, annual inspection, and more may be logged automatically.
Notes - This area is a "catchall" for any information which doesn't fit into one of the pre-defined or custom user-defined equipment information fields.
Settings - Use check boxes to display relevant equipment information tabs and hide those not in use. The virtual meter function will auto-increment the asset's meter value on a daily basis; this is ONLY appropriate if the asset does not have an actual meter, but you want to schedule recurring maintenance as though a predefined average daily meter usage elapses
