Importing Data to Fleet Maintenance Pro and Maintenance Pro

You're able to import Equipment, Parts Inventory, Vendors, and Employees to the PC based software we offer. The data you wish to import must be in a CSV or Comma Separated Value type of format, which is an option to save a spreadsheet as within Excel. 

There is no undo operation for imports, so we recommend making a full backup first before importing anything.

You do not need to have the columns in a specific order, since you can specify what each column represents when importing.

We highly recommend creating a very small CSV file with only one or two rows only to test out the import. You'll want to verify that everything was imported successfully after the trial attempt. This will also give you some familiarity with the import process. After this you are welcome to import a larger CSV file.

Provided that you've made a backup file, you can go to the Setup menu item, and then choose which kind of data you wish to import:
